about
"El observador es, a la vez, un criptógrafo"
by Revista WAM
"...Luciano Ponzano delivers a solo album of nine piano pieces of his own, recorded live one night at "Justo José de Urquiza Library" in Río Tercero. This time, the musician also known as Joseph Johnson, shows a completely different facet to his role as a guitarist in projects such as the Lattenzia’s Funky Dealers Orchestra (https://open.spotify.com/album/3t21GW7LRp5OouyTQ5zg84), exposing also all his musical talent in the piano.
He doesn't only interpret and execute this instrument masterfully, he is also in charge of composing works capable of creating captivating, entertaining and pleasant sound labyrinths, generating a journey of tranquility and magic that does not reveal his destiny. We will have to discover it song by song."

"The material includes 9 works composed and performed on solo piano, which combine the subtlety of jazz with the flight of soundscape, in pursuit of the most noble objective of instrumental music: introspection. With this music plagued by climates, which are nourished by both sounds and silence, Luciano Ponzano allows us (and allows him) to pause in the middle of so much saturated messages. A look inside an environment that struggles violently to gain our attention. With this remarkable gesture, he achieves that the listener, in contemplation of the work, discovers himself as a cryptographer of his own reality."
